Hello, this past sunday I noticed a lump on my anus. I have been researching to see what it is and I figure it is either a hemorrhoid or a perianal hematoma. I am a very healthy and active person, which is why I am wondering why I have one. I don t have any problems with constipation or anything like that. What would be the best way to treat this? It is not big at all, maybe the size of a pea, and is only slightly sore when I touch it or clench my anus. I have no pain or discomfort when sitting, but I can feel is slightly when I cough. Hopefully it is not too serious that I need to see a doctor about it, because I hear they will go away after a while if treated correctly. I don t know how I got it, but I do lift weights and I did anally masturbate a few days before I discovered it which may have caused it. When I try to look at it in the mirror it looks skin colored to me, but I can t tell. I don t think it is internal because it is next to the opening of the anus, and is under the skin. It is not bleeding what so ever. Thanks for any information or advice.
