HIV AIDS Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
The response to the treatment depends on the sensitivity of organism to the drug, the appropriate dose and adequate duration etc.
If something interferes with the absorption of drug, then also adequate concentration would not be present inside the body to eliminate the germs. Associated conditions, illness or treatment may play a part. The diagnosis to be reconfirmed. Alternate drug may do well. Abstinence from sex during treatment is a must. Those things would be cared by your treating physician.
