General & Family Physician Dr. Shreya Kunder's  Response

Have you had a detailed conversation with your wife about this problem? did she tell you why she feels disinterested in intercourse? yes some contraceptives do reduce the desire and you may try a different contraceptive.

is her work life very stressful?

are there any other issues bothering the two of you.

i would suggest to first try to talk to her yourself and if you have then why dont you see a counselor who can help detect the problem? as you have already seen some doctors did they talk of any other health issue?

this problem needs to be handled carefully and whatever be the issue it can be taken care by communication and counseling.

take care

Some contraceptives may reduce femail desire for sex... so either discontinue and try another contraceptive method (e.g. a condom) or change to a different contraceptive pill
