Why Does The Heart Rate Go Up While On An Elliptical Trainer?

just new to using Warfarin...good blood measure at 2.4 last few times. While exercising on elypitical trainer my heart rate goes up quite easily even though I am going slower and easier than I would have before dvt. Is this normal, do I use my heartrate zone as before or what? Thanks,

Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to low physical activity or low blood pressure.

Coming to this point, I would recommend performing a complete blood count for anemia and monitoring frequently your blood pressure values in sitting and standing up position.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
