Why Does One Get A Feeling Of Lactation?

Hi, I breatfed my child over thirty years ago and have gone thru menopause from 47 yrs . I am now 55 yrs and am getting the sensation like my breasts are filling with milk like when I used to feed my daughter. I have just started a weight loss program weight watchers and am watching my food intakes and more water etc and doing quite well lost 20lbs in 6 weeks but what is this sometimes the sensation is so strong it hurts

1.This kind of feeling are seen in case of ductal ectasia (when the milk glands gets obstructed and dilated). It happens in inflammatory process in the breast.
2.In will be treated with a course of antibiotics, in some cases a minor surgery might be needed.
3.If you are my patient i would have examine and ask for the ultrasound breast, once its confirmed (ectasia , any mass, fat) refer to the needful treatment / surgery.
4.Suggest you to get an appointment and see your doctor, (one minor thing you have to keep in mind is out of 100 causes of breast cancer it is one of the cause)
