Hi,

It seems that your daughter may be having lichen urticatus also called papular urticaria. It is hypersensitivity to insects like bed bug, flea, mosquito or some other. There may be severly itchy papular eruption occuring more at night. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Antihistaminics like levocetirizine and short course of steroids in tappering dose would be helpful. Apply mild steroid cream like hydrocortisone cream on the lesions twice a day. Tell her not to take bath with soap. Tell her to use dettol in bath. I think she may be alright with proper treatment. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
