Why does my infant get startled for few minutes?

Hi,Our baby boy is about 2 months old and.... he get startled very often and yesterday night cried for few minutes and stopped crying .. no body movement ..saliva was coming from mouth.. when we were taking to Emergency he was allright on the way.. is there any serious concern or its ok in kids at this age

We have to rule out seizure in this setting and need few tests like RBS, serum electrolytes and EEG. Kindly take him to your pediatrician. Meanwhile video record any further episodes.
