Why Does My Heart Beats Fast After Having Heavy Meals ?
mhi my heart beats fast after eating cetrain big meals like i ate chicken over the grill and it happened and today i ate a double cheese burger and it happened ther times during noon i take a nap and it happens and it affects me alot is it anxiety or can it be something else? just dont know

This is normally seen after full fatty meals as the blood supply to GI tract increases morethan 1.5 lit /min.so heart has to pump more.But get an ecg done to exclude cardiac problems or cardiomyopathy.

The increased blood supply occurs which you feel as palpitations. This could be normal. In case you feel chest pain and dizziness, you need to get yourself looked at.
