Why Does My Daughter Have Chest Pain ?

My daughter start playing softball a few days ago she came home saying her chest hurt . Then yesterday she worked out again saying the same thing. She also said her chest felt tight. She is 15 what should I do?

hi,thanks for query.Normally when you are doing something which you body is not used to ,this can happen.Ask her to avoid initially playing for long time.Gradually built up time.Apart from this ask her whether she is having difficulty in breathing while playing,or climbing stairs in routine ? In case of any of this ,it is better that you pay a visit your primary care physician ,just have routine check up done.In most of the case nothing will come,still in very few cases some valvular heart problems can present like this.
