Why Does It Hurt To Breath In The Upper Left Rib Cage?

hi i have a kidney stones but i do not think it is the problem at the time.. i am hurting bad in my right and left upper rib cage. and when i take a deep breath it really hurts bad and it hurts when i turn. do you think u may know what this is... thanks missy!

I can understand your concern.
Yes, you are right. Kidney stone can not cause this kind of chest pain.
In my opinion, you are mostly having musculoskeletal pain.
But better to rule out Pulmonary causes first.
So get done chest x ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test). If both are normal then no need to worry for any major diseases.
Your chest pain is mostly due to musculoskeletal cause. So avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise. Avoid movements causing pain.
Take painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs.
Apply warm water pad on affected areas.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
