General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The pain in the groin area can be related to the urinary tract infection. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to treat the pain. I also suggest using antibiotics to treat the infection such as Ciprofloxacin twice a day for a week.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
