Why Does Bleeding Occur From The Throat?

Blood come out when I clear my throat Hi doctor, I am ab 12 weeks pregnant. And lately my throat is dry when I wake up in the morning. This morning it seems worse when I clear my throat the mucous come s out,wt some blood. Any thing wrong?

It seems that you have pharyngitis- inflammation of throat mucosa causing dryness and sand in throat feeling due to congestion that is increased vascularity.
When you try to clear your throat forcefully the mucosal tear happens and blood from tiny blood vessels ooze out for very short time . the mucus may be blood tinged. Nothing to worry. Do warm saline gargling, Warm water intake, clear soups will soothen up the throat.
Vit.C rich fluids will be helpful.
