Why Does A Child Prefer Breastfeeding Only On One Side?

Hi , I have a 5 month old baby, she breast fed every 2 hrs. She drinks only from one side and refuse to latch on the other. She used to feed from both sides. She seems satisfied.if v offer her lactogen , she drinks around 10 to 15 ml. What May be the reason for this refusal? After I started giving lactogen she seems to cry at night... does lactogen cause it.

Some times there is a simple thing we are missing like there might be some pain on the other side when a baby lies on thay side so gets irritated and does not feel comfortable lying on that side.

Secondly some kids do have a preference about the side there is usually no issue in that just make sure that there us nothing like pain at that side of kid's body.

In some kids one side of nose is clogged up so that too should be checked.
