Hi,

Drug induced side effects. Bro-Zedex syrup is a combination medicine (bromhexine, guaifenesin, terbutaline and menthol) commonly used to relieve wheezing, shortness of breath, and coughing associated with respiratory infections.

Based on the history you seem to have developed tremors apparently caused by terbutaline present in the syrup.

I advise you to stop taking Bro-zedex and take dextromethorphan containing syrup for the symptomatic relief of dry cough along with the antibiotic Zithromax.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
