Why Do Periods Get Delayed After Protected Intercourse?
So me and my girlfriend lost our virginities to each other the first time and popped her cherry but used a condom then the next time which is recently like Monday we did it again and also used a condom...and I didn’t cum in her in the times we had sex,so we are wondering why we she hasn’t got her period and she’s now two days late?
A delay in a period may be seen with several causes. Usually, periods are irregular in young adults and teenagers. Periods can also be delayed with irregular hormone levels, medications like the post-coital pill, or with stress.
Irregular sleep, stress, travel, and change in weather may rarely cause the cycle to be irregular. Usually, it is best to check the dates of the cycle and determine the date of the period.
In case a period is missed by more than 7 days, taking a pregnancy test would be a good idea. It would be best to take the urine test first thing in the morning and to avoid urinating for 4 hours before the test.
