Why Do My Periods Occur Even After Skipping The Placebo Pills?
Hi! I ve been using Sprintec birth control pills for a few years now. In July, I skipped the placebo week and started my next pack to skip a period. This worked for a few days, but then I got my period and bled lightly-moderately for 2 or 3 weeks. I tried to skip a period again last month, and the same thing is happening. I have no issues with my period outside of this. Is it an issue of incompatible birth control, or something I should get checked out?

In some women breakthrough, bleeding can occur when taking back to back pill. It is normal and nothing to worry about. Please note that it is not advisable to take pills back to back without a pill-free period.
