Hello,
You are hearing popping sounds quite audible, you do not have any other ear problem. Popping sound in the ear is commonly caused by
eustachian tube dysfunction, earwax build up, acute
otitis media, TMJ disorders, middle ear
myoclonus (MEM), a type of tinnitus that is caused by spasm of specific muscles in your ear, the stapedius or tensor tympani.
You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT, get a hearing examination done, test of the movement of the ear drum, imaging tests (like CT /MRI) if required. TMJ exercises can help, unclogging ears by chewing, yawning or swallowing may help.
Nasal irrigation, ear wax removal may also help. Your treatment will depend on the pathology (conservative treatment, placement of ear tubes, surgery - if required) detected. Get treated at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
