It is good that you don't use drugs now. Please do not worry about anaesthesia for the surgery. The medications used to induce anaesthesia are not like these drugs and do not cause such palpitations. Moreover, you are under constant care and supervision of a doctor when you are anaesthesized, so any problems can be easily taken care of. There are machines to constantly monitor your heart. So anaesthesia is quite safe. Go ahead with the surgery without any worries. You'll be fine.

Best wishes for the surgery.
