Why do I sometimes get heart flutters when my echo and ekg came back normal?
I didnt ask the doctor because I totally forgot and was never much of an issue.. I am 23 weeks pregnant, so maybe its just a side effect of it? ( only breathless after I eat a lot or from anxiety)

When you have undergone both these tests and they are normal, nothing to worry, part of normal physiological changes that takes place during pregnancy. Eat Fiber diet more, Avoid constipation, and have fish proteins. Avoid stimulants e.g coffee, etc. However keep a regular ante-natal check up. Relax, and do the regular exercises if advised by your Obs.

I have chest pains that come and go that s in the upper chest with pains in my upper back. It also hurts sometimes when I move. I have had abnormal EKG s but my stress test and other heart tests came back normal. Could I be having some heart problems.

Hello. I am a 27 year old female who has been having a dull ache in my left shoulder , arm, and back, as well as in my chest. I have also had episodes of severe heartburn that last for hours. I was admitted to the ER twice because all of my EKGs came out abnormal. They said that they were abnormal but not on the level of having a heart attack . While in the hospital they monitored my heart all night, took blood multiple times, checked BP and pulse , ran an echo, and did a CT of my heart. All of the tests came back normal other than the EKGs. I am having an upper GI endoscopy tomorrow to see if I have GERD or something else related to my digestive system. I also have a follow up appointment with a cardiologist on Thursday. My concern is that it could still be heart related. My dad had a heart attack in his 50s that was because of some plaque falling off and my grandmother had a couple of minor heart attacks in her 80s and 90s. Other than that, I don t think anyone else in my family has had heart issues. I am not the healthiest person when it comes to exercise and food. Lately, I have been sticking to a low salt low fat diet. I plan to start exercising a little bit today as well. As I said, my concern is that it could still be heart related as I do have a very high stress job (teaching). Also, I don t smoke and I rarely drink (I did drink a lot in college). What are the odds that it could be related to my heart?

I have squeezing pressure in the center of my chest and feel in my back as well. The pressure is constant and is more compressed when I sit with my back leaned, or pressed up against something (more pressure is felt here) or lye down. I went to an urgent care facility and the doctor told me nothing, during the examination, pointed to any direct cause and my heart, lungs and belly appeared fine. An EKG was performed as well and was normal. I am quite concerned because this feeling is felt through out the course of the day and never goes away. Can you give me an idea of what could be the cause?

My 4 year old daughter is due to have an MRI in a week. Neurologist says she wants brain and spine due to her not being potty trained yet or even able to realize she has had a bowel movement....she has been to several docs and clinics and no firm diagnosis,... could the neurologist be thinking tethered cord??? She does have Sensory Processing Dissorder, Anxiety with panic attacks, major sleep disruption issues and hallucinations. They are doing a sleep deprived EEG to see if some of her myoclonis is seizure related. She is on meds: Risperidone and clonidine, with 3 mg. of melatonin as well. She has O.T. and P.T. once per week, with alot of motor control issues, gait , balance and ataxia. I feel she may have most definitely a chromosome deletion problem, genetic...somthing in that area. At one point they mentioned DiGeorge Syndrome, then didn t want to test. I had a Fragile X test started, and it came up negative. (my daughter also has alot of tantrums and inconsolable crying where she cannot stop. Where should I go if MRI and EEG come up with no answers...What next??? Her current psychiatrist suggests I stop looking for answers and work with what I have... I dont think that s a good idea...this is my daughter ...Please give me your opinion.... Thank You So Much, Michelle

My mum (79) demanded that she come off bisoprolol after taking for 3 years, as she felt she should not have been on it. The doctor agreed and she is now suffering with increased heart rate (120bpm) at times, but wont see a doctor. She suffers generally with her nerves and feels that going back on the bisoprolol again will calm her down. Is she just panicing or will the panic attack be because of coming off the bisoprolol? She also came off bumetanide at the same time, for the same reason (ie she felt she should never have been put on those tablets)

For the past few days I have had heart palpatations, sore arm, chest pain, and pains in my legs alongside numbness in my arm. Is this just an anxiety attack? I had a hemotoma in my leg and was petrified they were linked, but each time I showed the doctors they didn't seem to think this was a possibility. I just need reassurance that it is only anxiety.
