Why Do I Keep Getting UTIs?

Hi there, I'm a 20 year old female, average height and weight, and have been getting many UTI's for the past 2 years. When I was a kid it wasn't a big deal. I know that cranberry juice helps, as does wiping back to front, but I wonder if I'm doing it right?

Hello,

Recurrent UTI has many modalities of action as imbalance between water intake and body requirement, concentrated urine, hygiene lacunae, STD, calculus in urinary tract, systemic disorders as diabetes or others. Strong recommendations for you:

Wiping from front to back is always recommended (not back to front) to prevent perianal pathogens entering into the urinary system causing UTI.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
