Why Do I Hear Bubbles In Stomach, Weakness In Left Side With Speech Problem After Hitting The Head ?
hi I got hit in the head with a 8 pound pot it did not bleed, but ever since I hear bubbles after a growl in my stomach. Now I have had stroke in medical problems. From the weakness in my left side now walking with a cane to my speech is bad. no one can figure out what is going on. can you help?
Hearing gurgling in the stomach is a normal phenomenon of the GI system having to do with the generation of gas escaping from fluid and/or the churning action of the stomach following meals. It is not likely related to your symptoms you are having as a consequence of your stroke. Please see your doctor for a referral to physical and speech therapy and you will see improvement in both the left-sided strength as well as speech problems which is more likely a dysarthria rather than aphasia.
You should see some improvement with time and good effort/compliance on your part with the suggested regimen.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
