Why Do I Have Sharp Cramps During My Periods ?
Hi, I am 20 years old and I am having extremely sharp (not always long) pain in my abdomen while on my period. But it is not simply cramping. It is so sharp that I end up paralyzed from pain. It must be connected to my intestines because it almost feels like EXTREME gas pains, and when I try to go to the bathroom the pain is way to intense and sharp and I pass out or throw up. What is going on with my abdominal organs while I have my period?! Relevant information: I take Naproxen for pain which helps with cramping but is not doing anything for this sharp pain.

in some cases like this pain will come.

pain during periods is a common problem.it depends on one's sensitivity.mostly the pain is more in the beginning years and is generally relieved by analgesics like tab.dysmen sos but if your pain is not being relieved by any drug then you need a gynaec consult and an ultrasound as well.take care.
