An examination by orthopedic specialist and somes investigations are needed. Cervical pain requires (besides pain medicaion)- changes in your sleeping mattress, chair, correction of posture, physiotherapy, change of pillow on which you sleep etc.
Some yog aasans are help ful for cervial pain, you may try that, under an expert's care.
