Why do I have a lump in my groin?

lump appeared suddenly on the underside right side of groin . Taint area (sorry don t know the medical term). After day of working in house, was sweating a decent amount. Took a shower and felt lump when I was washing. Also believe I have a spider bite on the back of my neck , but not sure how spider would have bit here. Not really painful, just annoying and of course lumps are concerning.

Hi welcome to H.C.M.Forum. sudden appearence of swelling in inguinal region may be due to hernea or inguinal gland infection associated with pain. so the hernia might be the final conclusion.
i advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis
