Why Do I Have A Feeling Of Worm Like Movements?

I have also been feeling the same worm like movements since 1987 when I was only 19 years old. Feels very much like a bag of worms and I even see the scrotum skin move physically. I had surgery for varicocele 8 weeks ago and my surgeon said it was going to be ok, but to no avail. I have developed a very bad odour over the years from that area and I my suspecion is it may have been caused by the scrotum skin "wearing out" due to these movements. I am very much at a loss now and would take anything that can help my situation. Thank you.

Thanks for your query.
Now that you have already undergone surgery for varicocele, the problem of something moving since 1987. and the symptoms still persist and you feel the skin of the scrotum moves physically.

You have developed very bad odor and feeling that the scrotal skin is wearing out.

Well, to answer your query:
The scrotal skin is unique in such a way that it is very stretchable, and has a muscles just under it which is responsible for contracting the skin in cold season and loosen in warm weather.
Excessive movement of this muscle is making you feel the movement and is normal but may be a bit exaggerated in your case.
Difficulty in cleaning such a part make the bad odors so nothing to worry.

I wold advise you the following:
Clean the area with soap and warm water to clean off all the dead tissues, let is dry and then apply Liquid Povidone Iodine.
Take antibiotic if required.
This should solve your problem if you do this regularly at least twice daily.
