Why do I get bad pelvic pain whenever the intercourse is hard ?

Hi, lately I ve been having really bad pelvic pain whenever me and my husband do it doggy style. It never happened before but something did happen this month, I had a misscarriage. Could this have anything to do with it? My miscarriage was only 3 weeks and I didn t have to get scrapped or anything.

hiii ines,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
Some feels pain in doggy style due to improper position and long thrust.
If you feel uncomfortable in this position, then try it with missionary position.
You also had a miscarriage of 3 wks.
So better to do a USG of lower abdomen to rule out pelvic pathology if any.
Consult with your gynecologist.
All the best.

I have been having pelvic pain for over a year which increase two weeks after my period and intensifies badly during sex and my period. I have a reduced appetite, bloating and a foul smell two weeks before my period that I never used to get. I finally bit the billet and went to see my doctor two weeks ago. She sent me for a scan (internal) and did a triple swab. I got the results today. The swabs have come back clear. When I asked what the scan had shown she said it said my endometrium measure 7mm but there was a build up of fluid in my uterus toward my left ovary. She asked where I was in my cycle when I went for the scan and I said day 18 with my period normally coming day 35. She then said she didn t think it was anything significant but that she would ask another colleague and get back to me. I am not overly concerned because if it was something to worry about she would surely have rung that colleague there and then. But I am a little anxious now that I have read a bit about fluid in the uterus. Please could you out my mind at rest, or at least give me some answers as to what may be causing this fluid and pain I am experiencing. Thank you in advance

I removed a tampon yesterday-it was very hard to pull out and hurt. Ever since I have had sharp pelvic pain with some pressure. It is worse when I sit up straight, when I have gas bubbles or if I try to push to use the restroom it is really bad. I have switched to pads ever since. Did I hurt something?

Hi I am a 22 year old male, with pain and swelling in my epididymis. I was diagnosed with epididymitis about a year and a half ago and went through multiple trials of antibiotics and anti inflammatory medicine. Some trials came with a little relief but pain and swelling would return after about a month. I also had an ultrasound which showed nothing abnormal. After about 6 months of dealing with epididymitis doctors diagnosed me with chronic prostatitis. After I was diagnosed, I decided to enroll myself in yoga and found myself a knowledgeable physical therapist to help with all my pelvic pain. After about 2 months of working with the PT my pelvic pain was alleviated. It's been about 3 or 4 months since I've been back and my pelvic pain is still minimal, however I still have great pain and swelling in both of my epididymis. I can feel that the coils are very swollen and the actual epididymis is swollen and hard. I have yet to find relief to the swelling and pain of the epidiymis although I've found relief in all my other forms of pelvic pain. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

7 weeks ago i had an ovarian cyst aspirated laparoscopically after 18 months of various symtoms including severe pelvic pain, abdominal cramping and bloating, vomitting, loss of appetite, night sweats etc. A week after surgery i had a pelvic ultrasound which showed a 2 1/2 cm cyst on same ovary, the ultrasound has also shown a cyst on my spleen and left kidney. Im very confused and worried and the consultant in my hospital is not seeing me again for another 6 months eventhough im still experiencing all symptoms.

Hello, less than two months ago I was admitted to the hospital for severe abdominal pain, lower back pain, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. Thought it was IBS flaring up or worse, cancer. Then to my surprise, every test came back normal except a pelvic MRI. I had been diagnosed in the ER a week before with a bladder infection and treated with antibiotics. I did not have a bladder infection. I know what they feel like and that was not a bladder infection. My symptoms were not even female related. Fast forward to biopsy for adenomyosis. Soooooo painful, yet came back normal . At the time I had severe lower back pain and pelvic pain and bloating. I am waiting to get in to see another OB/GYN as the one I currently have suggested Mirena. Not going to happen. Now I once again have severe back pain, pelvice pain and am bleeding heavily and have blood clots. Do I need a hysterectomy??? I am 50 years old and have still been getting my period. Please help. Thank you. Tanya

I have been suffering with re-occuring diarrhoea and pelvic pains along with acid reflux and irregular periods for the last couple of months. My doctor has started me on some tablets for the reflux and I am booked in to have an endoscopy done to check there is nothing going on bowel wise. I am worried though as I read that pelvic pain, irregular periods and diarrohea can be a sign of ovarian cancer. I had a abdominal ultrasound done twelve weeks ago and they checked both ovaries and found a small cyst on one. does this rule out cancer?
