Why Do I Get A Feeling Of My Legs Giving In While Walking ?

After I stand (get out of the car, stand to go get a drink from the fridge) and even walk a couple paces, my legs feel as if they are going to give out. So, I stop and wait for the feeling to pass. What could this be?

Hi,
Thanks for query,
You have not mentioned your age.
You might have peripheral neuritis.
If you are elderly there is possibility of having some compression of nerves due to degenerative changes in vertebral spines.
Rule out diabetes.
Go for x ray lumbo sacral region.
Take vit B1,B6,B12 injections.
Ok and bye.
