Why Did I Have A Yellowish Discharge From My Nipples?

i am female with age of 29 ,just last sunday i had a yellowish discharge from my both nipples and i have pain in one breast so i went to my physician she referred for ultrasound in which she told me that its benignlesions and marginal ductal ectasia seen in the other breast and advised fior fnac test what does this mean .do i have breast cancer ,please help me out i am very tensed is the test painful

Hi,

Duct ectasia of the breast is a condition in which the lactiferous duct becomes blocked or clogged. This is the most common cause of greenish discharge in the breast.If antibiotics and self-care don't work, the affected milk duct may be surgically removed.

Since the lesions are benign,it does not mean cancer.Do not worry.Kindly take up the fnac test to confirm diagnosis.It is not painful.
