Why Did I Fainted After Taking Codeine X And Zopiclone For The First Time?
Recently fainted after taking Codeine X for the first time ever and then five weeks later fainted after taking zopiclone - also for the first time. Is it possible the two drugs are related and that it s an enzyme issue genetically. I spent 36 hours in intensive care 12 years ago after rocurronium before an operation.

Structurally or chemically both are unrelated, but one thing that is common for both is orthostatic hypotension, meaning, sudden fall in the blood pressure while standing. you might be over sensitive to these drugs.
If you are precautionary and aware of this complication, you need not stop taking these.
