Dear Friend Welcome to Health care magic. I am Dr Charu , I will shortly try to help you with my opinion. See , aspiration before or during a surgery is related to depressed level of consciousness due to sedation and also if food is there in your stomach. Now since it's past , it is unlikely to be related. However , you should get your Upper GI Endoscopy done to rule out Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). You may also discuss with your doctor regarding adding a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone.
Based on the available details, this is my best advice for you. You should discuss with your doctor and share my opinion , I am sure he/she will agree to my opinion. Good Luck.
