Why Clitoris Excessive Sensitivity Feeling And Itchiness ?
Hello. I am 30 years old, and healthy. Not allergic to anything as far as I know. I have been taking antibiotics for a throat infection, and now my clitoris is really itchy. It started about two days ago. It s so itchy that even a slight brush over ceases the sensitivity and itch for about 2 min. Why is it so itchy all of a sudden?? please help.

Penicillins (there are more than 10 varieties) cause intensely itchy spots over the skin. But it may not be the cause of an itchy clitoris. It could be a rash, or contact dermatitis. Scratching the area only aggravates the itch. Use a cortcosteroid and antihistamine ointment. Be sure there is no vaginal infection. Cool wet sponging can partially relieve an acute itchy episode.
