Why Are Periods Not Stopping ?
Hi i have been on the implant for over a month now. When i was due on my period i was just over a week late.. i took a pregnancy test and the results came back negitive. soon after that i started my period. i have been on my period for 17 days now and still havent stopped... what could this mean?

Norplant or other progesterone based implants do cause such a problem of irregular bleeding and prolonged bleeding. It remains such for initial 2 months till the body gets adjusted to the newer hormonal balance.
