Why Are My Vaginal Lips Swollen Post Intercourse?

i am a girl 24 years old i had this thing happened to me 3 times in my life.
my labia minoras swollen and has became very red and was itchy at the same time and it did not go away until after like 8 hours, i am not sure how many hours it was.
but i am sure it happened twice after intercourse and one after it was very irritated and itchy.
please help me to know what it is and how to heal it

It is in some response to allergy or infection.
labia minora is a sensitive part. If your partner has used condoms, that condom material can be a cause of allergy.Allergy causes irritation,congestion and itching.
If he has done without condom, there is possibility of allergy of other substance i.e clothes or dirt.
There is also chance of low grade infection in vagina as it also cause irritation congestion(swelling) and itching.Are you suffering from white discharge? id there foul smell?
If you take anti allergic drug like levocetrizine , swelling and itching will probably go away.
However if it is recurrent now onwards , consult your gynecologist for proper examination and evaluation.
