Why An I Chilled To The Bone From My Chest To My Arm?

I obviously must have pulled a muscle in my left scapula area and have had discomfort in my left shoulder, but since last Wednesday (when I couldn t literally get out of bed because of the muscular pain in my shoulder) I have had this strange coldness down the left side of my chest and my left arm. The old expression of chilled to the bone seems strangely true. My skin on the left side is normal in temperature to touch, my pulse on the left wrist is normal. Is this associated with the shoulder/scapula problem. I am a retired Nurse and enjoy the best of health!

Hi,

Muscular pain will not cause temperature difference or pulse difference in two sides of body.
I think that you should visit a doctor especially vascular surgeon as soon as possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi, General & Family Physician
