Why am i having frequent urination ?

I am 14 years old. From the past 12 hours, I am getting an abnormal urge to urinate extremely frequently. Everytime I urinate, I feel like more is yet to come, but I have to strain my muscles and come out of the toilet and then again after 30 seconds, I feel the urge again. What tests should I do? And what can be the problem?

Dear Ivan,

Is there any burning sensation during Urination? or any pain in the back. frequent urination can be due to urinary tract infection/kidney stones. You need to undergo Urine routine test to detect if there is any urinary tract infection. I would suggest you to drink lots of water/fluids which will help you ease the problem.Though drinking water will increase the frequency time being but it will help in the cure of any infection present. If you have any pain in the lower back along with pain/burning during urination you need to get USG KUB for kidney stones...

I wish you speedy recovery and Best Health.
