Why Am I Having Difficulty In Swallowing?

Sometimes, have difficulty swallowing - food doesn't go down nor will come up. I think it may be due to a dry throat
It's not always easy to push the food down by drinking any liquid. I just have to wait, & wait, & wait & then it begins to move.

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I had read your query regarding difficulty in swallowing solid food.

As per your clinical history it appears as you are suffering from esophageal stenosis or esophageal stenosis or some neoplastic lesion in esophagus.

To confirm it you should go for upper G.I. endoscopy and if neoplasm is suspected than biopsy from lesion.

I hope above work will disclose the facts for diagnosis.

Regards.
