Why Am I Having Bleeding After A Week Of Sex?

i m 20 yrs old .... i had unprotected sex with my bf on 23rd feb and took i-pill within 24 hrs .... now vaginal bleeding started on 1st march for 2-3days ...... nd my periods date is around 14 every month ...... what is the meaning of this bleeding? plz rply soon

The bleeding is most likely due to the I pill. Emergency contraceptive pills may cause irregular bleeding. Your next period may also not come on 14th now since you have already bled. Do not worry, this is usual with I pill.

Dear member,
Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
The pill has high dose of progesterone.
This causes irregular bleeding.
Abstain from further sex and hormone medicine in this cycle.
Wait for period till 14. If delayed do a pregnancy test.
