Why Am I Experiencing Pulsating Pain In Shoulder Area And Mild Pain In Throat?

Last couple of days will get short bouts (30-60 seconds) of a pulsating pain right shoulder blade area and a sense of mild pain in throat - actually feels more like behind the throat. No difficulty swallowing - no pain swallowing. No recent upper respiratory symptoms. No nasal discharge, no post nasal drip.

It can be cervical spondylyisis pain. Do you feel more pain on neck movement or are you also feeling tingling and numbness in your hand and shoulder. If answer is yes than you need a X ray of your neck to check if there is any nerve compression is there . If not than i would suggest you to show a ENT specialist. Meanwhile take lozens, and drink gentle warm water. You can apply Diclofenec ointment at shoulder and neck. Avoid using very high pillow. Take Brufen tablet if you feel pain is very much.
