Why Am I Bleeding During Sex?

I have had made love with my boy friend a few times (maybe three or four times) and i ahve experienced bleeding during sex on the first sleep out with him. Is it very risky or are there chances of me getting cervix cancer or other vaginal diseases apart from that?

Hi,
Thanks for your question.
Bleeding after sex is considered an alarming sign.
It indicate a need for investigation & may be treatment. However, it does not always indicate cervical cancer or some serious genital problem. Sometimes, just a benign problem like poly or erosion may have caused this, but, you MUST see a Gynecologist for evaluation & necessary testing.
Wish you good health.
Take care.
