Why Am I Losing Hair Despite Having A Healthy Lifestyle?

Hello Doctor, I m an Engineering Student , been subjected to a bit of stress due to immediate deadlines, last minute submissions, etc. The problem is I ve been losing hair on mainly around the top of my head and I think its male pattern baldness. I live in the college hostel and have my 3 meals regularly. There s a juice shop in campus where we get juice like mosambi, orange, water melon, apple, mango, pomegranate, carrot etc and i go there almost everyday. I have sugarcane juice and cononut water occasionally. Regularly play cricket and football and get to cycle a lot which keeps me fit. I ve been having the Patanjali amla juice twice a day for about a month. I also have aloe vera juice occasionally in the morning. I have Kalonji (black jeera - nigella sativa seeds) twice a day along with Dabur chyawanprash and honey twice a day. I have tulsi green tea 2-3 times a day. I use only Shikakai powder and amla powder to wash my hair. I think i have a healthy lifestyle but still lose hair and i think its male pattern baldness. Could u pls help. Thanks :)

Hi there ~

Male pattern baldness is a normal phenomenon, however it can be accelerated by stress. I do think that what you are doing may all be helpful in getting back your hair if you so want it. It can also help to use minoxidil lotion in graduated strengths as instructed by your dermatologists. They are available in 2%, 5%, and 10% strengths. I hope this helps.

Take care and have a lovely day!

Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.
I have gone through your available history.
Stress is known to cause hair loss. so you should reduce the stress by stress management and time management.
You should also consult hair specialist to rule out any Infection if any.
Zinc and biotine are good for Hair growth so you should take this either from the food and if not than zinc containing vitamin tablets.
Thanks
