Why Am I Having Sharp Pains In My Breast ?

Hi, I m a 19 year old female. 5 7, 120 lbs. Throughout my teens I ve been having some pain in my left breast, not so much in my right one. Now noticed that the pain is usually in my left side of the left breast. It s sometimes sharp. Also, my right breast was always slightly larger than the left one. It s also softer. However I don t feel any lumps in the left one, just a thicker consistency. I was wondering if there might be something wrong with me.

Hi;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
The pain in breast during teens is mainly at the time of periods or if it is other wise it is due to development changes and natural enlargement of breast.Also the size is not perfectly symmetrical in all females.Presently if you have pain in breast which is worrying you please get examined by a Gynaec to rule out any problem.
Take care.
Thanks
