Why Am I Having Severe Pain In My Rectum Followed By Sweating ?

Hi Doc I had a severe rectum pain last night it came within 5min then I felt light headed and went and sat down and then black out for about 2min , came round and was sweating lots (a cold sweat) and my hands and head very pale then after 20min i was ok and still ok now. I am a male 66 years and wieghing 14 and half stone, Never had this before ????

hi dear ,
due to intense pain you must have had vasovagal attack.
are u diabetic?
visit a good gen. surgeon get yourself investigated for rectal pain.
dont panic.it is vagal response to pain.

Hi Dr.
I am not a diabetic but have history of heart ( 2 by-pass's and heart attact 1994 another heart attact and 2 stents Jan 2010 ) but have no heart problems since ( dr said try not to go for hat trick )but have gone through a lot of stress since Xmas as my wife has gone into a home last thursday and this happened on sat ( she has vascular dementia ) Could this be a one off now wife is in a home and I am relaxed and less stressful??
