Why Am I Having Pain In My Pelvic Are While Having My Period?

I have pain in my left pelvic area, i'm on my period and it has been brown in color since sunday. I feel nausea and have a ripping feeling in my right side of my stomach; my kidneys hurt and when i just used to bathroom i had dark red tissue and like burgundy blood come out.

Hi,
If you have been experiencing this pain only since you have started your menstrual cycle, it could be related to that. Else, other pelvic causes have to be suspected. I would ask for a complete pelvic examination, urinalysis, a trans-vaginal/pelvic sonogram and blood counts. If you are sexually active and are not on any regular contraception, pregnancy also needs to be excluded. Pelvic infection, urinary tract infections, gastrointestinal disturbances need to be considered. Hope this helps.
