Why all the time i feel like i am dehydrated ?

So, for about a month now i constantly feel like im burning up up. Sometimes with and without chills. I constantly have dry mouth and i feel like im dehydrated all the time. I drink alot of water now and feel somewhat alright as long as im drinking water but as soon as i stop it all comes rushing back. A few days ago i was standing at work and noticed my hands felt extremely warm and wheni looked at them they were red. I get short of breath alot with a crushing pain just about the xiphoid process. And suggestions would be nice

Sick after two or three drinks. I am 43 years old, 6’ 3” and 230lbs. To the age of 40 I have been perhaps more than moderate drinker. Over the past year I have stopped drinking altogether because of the sickness that would follow after having only two or three drinks over the course of a night. It would start in the middle of the night with a nauseous feeling and increased heart rate followed by diarrhea, vomiting, and cold sweats. By early afternoon I would feel good enough to get around but not eat anything that day. By no means am I looking for a reason to drink heavily but I would like the occasional drink with friends and be able to handle two or three without the inevitable sickness. I have tried many types of alcohol thinking it was an allergic reaction. I’ve tried light beers, dark beers, Vodka, Gin, Southern, etc, and have the same result with each. In the past I have been hospitalized a few times for dehydration relating to sporting activities and some just from alcohol alone. I was once told that the more frequent I become dehydrated the easier it can happen. Is it possible I’m experiencing dehydration from two or three drinks even if I’m drinking 3x as much water?

Hi doctor, i need help in finding out the main causes of the symptoms I ve been experiencing in a month before and after my period. I m a 25-yr old married woman. I ve been experiencing light headed like being dehydrated, but i drink a lot of water, neck and back stiffness on the upper part, diarrhea couple of times, lower right quadrant abdominal pain , sometimes the pain goes from left to right abdomen. I just had menstruation so it s impossible to become pregnant. Could you please advise the diseases might be? Thanks

For serveral months I have had trouble with my digestive system. Almost everytime i eat I feel sick and often cannot keep food down. most of the time when I throw up, it feels like acid and burns. I feel weak most of the time. I ve been to med express a few times and they give me medicine that works , but when I dont take it, Im back to the same thing. I do work a full time job, under stress a lot, and am constantly on the move. I often feel as though I may be dehydrated.

My Xiphoid process is sore to touch and has moved to the left side and twisted a bit. It is tender to touch and may be a bit swollen. I have noticed an increase in gastric reflux and numbness in both hands when sleeping which may not be associated with the misshapen xiphoid.

I am a Flight Attendant and after work yesterday, later in evening, I noticed pain near xiphoid process. Also, I lifted a heavy box from Costco, up two flights of stairs. I didnt lift any particularly heavy luggage items, during flight, but was engaging in some pretty aggressive rearraning of pax luggage in overhead bins. Felt ok, when I got home, but suprisingly the pain increased til bedtime and was really bad during nite. Any suggestions! Claudia

I am a 28 male and recently noticed long sort of bump which I think it originates at my sternum but hard to say. I have looked online and it seems it could be my xiphoid. I only feel it when I "suck in" my stomache but it seems to hang down about 2 inches. No pain, except when I press it, it makes me feel a little uneasy. Does this sound like my xiphoid? What is a "normal" xiphoid size?

Multiple symptoms. After a normal breakfast of toast and eggs over easy with glass of milk, within an hour I started to feel gassy and bloated. Which lead to feeling distended below front ribs up into xyphoid area. Liver felt hard...and had pain in back about where the base of the lungs would be. Accomponied by extreme fatigue and nausea. Felt similar to extreme over eating. So full even difgicult to drink small amount of water. Only relief is to lie down with heating pad. Several hours later symptoms reduced but still evident.
