Why Do I Get Startled So Easily ? Please Help

It started weeks after I had my baby. All of a sudden I would almost have a heart attack just because there s a loud noise or some bad news. It s been 2 years now and my symptoms seem to even worsen. My cardio says I m fine. They checked my adrenal function and thyroid, too. All is good . I also suffer from anxiety.

I get startled very easily, not by scary movies but just daily incidences. I would scream on the top of my lungs at sight of someone (even family members) just because i wasn t expecting to see them. I m pretty sure it has something to do with my childhood. So I just want to know if there s a way I can train myself to be more calm and collected in this kind of situation.
