Whom To Consult For Broken Toe Nail, A Toe With History Of Fracture, That Is Bleeding?

My toenail has separated from the cuticle or nail bed at the base and has been seeping a little blood for about 2 weeks. I have been putting an antibiotic cream on it but not sure how long this will continue. I broke this toe a few months ago and thought it might be related to that. I was thinking of seeing a doctor but not sure if I should see the doctor who treated my fracture or a dermatologist???

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, first you get it confirm that it is not the fracture, if it is not fracture and just the toe nail separated then no need to go anywhere, this will come around with the sterilized dressing and if required oral antibiotic (Amoxicillin 500 three times in day) and this will take 6 to 8 days in healing, for the pain you can have "Ibuprofen" 400mg three time in day, take care and nothing to worry about this bye.
