Who Should Treat A Sphenoid Sinus Retention Cyst?

I saw my GP for headaches. He ordered a CTscan of my sinuses and it shows a retention cyst in my sphenoid sinus on the same side of my head where my headaches are occurring. The GP said I should see a neurologist since I did not have sinusitis. He said nothing about the cyst, this was on the report I received from the radiologist. Would a neurologist really be the correct person to see, or should I see an ENT?

HI.
This is a very good question.
You should definitely see an ENT Surgeon first to determine whether the sphenoid cyst can be the reason for your headache. IF He feels so, get this operated to get a relief. IF this is not the reason felt by your ENT , you may consult Neurologist for second opinion.
