Who Posses Knowledge In Medical Terminology ?

I need to take a test but this one question I could not answer, please help! with the patient lying in the supine position, the carotid vein was cut. wht opperative procedure was done ? A -Angioplasty B-Atherectomy C- Embolectomy D-Phlebotomy thanks.

Bad question. 1) There is no carotid vein. 2) Angioplasty is done inside the vessels, no cutting 3) Athrectomy is the removal of plaque from an artery. 4) Embolectomy is the removal of an embolus. 5) Phlebotomy usually refers to blood drawing (using needles)
