Whitish Yellow Scab On Scraped Knee. On Cephalexin And Mupirocin. Advice
Yes I have a whitish yellow scab on my scraped knee. The scrape happened on Friday at Disney studios nurse clean it with bactine and put bacitracin on it with a bandid. I went to emergency care got antibiotics cephalexin and mupirocin the next day. I am vacationing in Florida and I am scared to go to the pool and beach. What should I do? I just started he antibiotics yesterday.
It seems from the description that you had an Abrasion over the knee.
It heals without any issues with the treatment you are taking.
The only advice from my side is to avoid contact with water as it may lead to infection.
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
