ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

You have been seen by an ENT specialist who has diagnosed a tonsillar infection and treated you emperically along with sending for culture and sensitivity tests. If augmentin itself works you should be fine. Else, once the culture report arrives the right antibiotics would be started. So you do not have to worry.

Sreenivasan
